The next scheduled Parish Council meeting will take place on Tuesday 3 June 2025, 7pm at the Parish Hall. The Press and Public are invited to attend.
Agendas will be posted on notice boards and this website.
Minutes will be posted within one month of the previous meeting.
Yarpole Group Parish Council is made up of 10 Councillors representing the villages of Yarpole & Lucton, the hamlet of Bircher and the communities who live in Bicton, Croft and on Bircher Common.

Yarpole, Audrey Bott, John Cadwallader, Duncan Grant (Vice-Chairman), Diane Hill, Rose Jenkins, Ian Salmon (Chairman) and Adam Scott.
Lucton, Harold Holder and Geoff Trotter.
The Parish Council liaises regularly with Herefordshire Council and works closely with the Bircher Ward Councillor Dan Hurcomb who was elected on 4 May 2023.

Parish Council meetings are normally held on the first Tuesday of every month, except August and January, starting at 7.00pm in the Parish Hall. Members of the public are encouraged to attend and have the opportunity to speak on any agenda items at the start of the meeting. Agendas for each meeting are published on parish noticeboards and this website 3 working days before the meeting.
Meeting dates for 2025/26 are: 3 June, 1 July, August (none), 2 September, 7 October, 4 November, 2 December, January (none), 3 February 2026, 3 March 2026, 7 April 2026, 5 May 2026.
Upon taking office, each parish councillor signs a declaration of acceptance of office, agreeing to observe the current code of conduct, and completes a register of interests. You can access the register of interests for the Parish Council via the link to the Herefordshire council website here.
